Adult Student Evaluations

Psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations for college, graduate, and professional students

Our adult evaluations focus on college, graduate, and professional students who need documentation to obtain accommodations for academic programs, licensing exams, or professional training. These evaluations are conducted in our office and are paid out of pocket. We are committed to efficient, high-quality assessments that provide the clear documentation students need to succeed.

What is a psychoeducational evaluation?

Psychoeducational evaluations examine a student’s learning potential and academic skills to identify strengths and weaknesses or confirm learning disorders. For adult students, these evaluations are often requested to support accommodations on college coursework, graduate-level exams, or standardized tests such as the GRE, MCAT, LSAT, or bar exam.

Abilities assessed include:

  • General intelligence

  • Academic skills (reading, writing, math)

  • Attention and executive functions

  • Processing speed

  • Social and emotional well-being

What is a neuropsychological evaluation?

Neuropsychological evaluations provide a more detailed analysis of cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning. They are especially valuable when learning or attention difficulties are complex or when neurological conditions affect performance. These evaluations are often required to support accommodations for licensing and board examinations in medicine, law, or other professional programs.

Abilities assessed include:

  • General intelligence

  • Attention and executive functions

  • Processing speed

  • Language and memory skills

  • Visual perception and motor integration

  • Academic skills (reading, writing, math)

  • Behavioral and emotional functioning
